This lithograph is taken from folder number XXXVI.

The plates, introduced by the texts of Leonardo Sciascia, were printed on paper specially manufactured by Magnani paper mills of Pescia and Ventura paper mills of Milan. The reproductions are by Colorlito, Milan, binding by Salvatore Tonti of Naples, Edizioni Scientifiche Italiane.

The images of the volume and the introductory texts are not part of the lot but prove the authenticity of its origin.

Renato Guttuso (Bagheria, 26th December 1911 – Rome, 18th January 900) was one of the most important Italian painters of the 20th century, a protagonist of the Italian neo-realist painting expressed in artists of the Fronte Nuovo delle Arti.
